Electrical Engineer 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Design and develop electrical power, lighting and datacomm systems for new and existing buildings.
Performing calculations in support of electrical system designs.
Electrical equipment sizing, feeder sizing and equipment selection.
Development of power diagrams and layout of electric equipment.
Review and implementation of applicable Building Codes.
Prepare drawings and specifications for electrical systems and equipment.
Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, construction observations and system performance.
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and building owners to ensure project success.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
Specific coursework related to electrical power design.
Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
Ability to perform under time constraints.
Intern or Coop experience a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit a plus.
Interest in innovative design, specifically in renewable energies and sustainable, high performance buildings.
Ability to work in a team environment and learn from Senior Engineers.
Comfortable interfacing directly with clients and industry peers.
